Accelleron Survey: E-fuels in the shipping industry

In September 2023, Accelleron commissioned a survey of 200 maritime industry decision makers in four European countries on their expectations for e-fuels. The survey questions cover topics such as:

  • Significance of e-fuels in shipping
  • Availability of e-fuels
  • Implementation of e-fuels in the shipping industry
  • Use of e-fuels by shipping companies
  • Development of the cost of e-fuels in comparison with conventional fuels
  • Strategies for decarbonisation in shipping
